BuilVid API — coming soon

Bring Construction Video Into Your Platform.

The BuilVid API will let another product create projects, submit media and retrieve finished construction videos. It is not available yet: there are no keys, no endpoints and no sandbox. The design is published here so integrators can plan.

Workflow

Asynchronous by design

Video generation takes time, so the API is built around jobs rather than long-lived requests.

  1. 01Create a project with its metadata.
  2. 02Attach source media — renders or dated site photography.
  3. 03Request a generation and receive a job identifier immediately.
  4. 04Receive a webhook, or poll the job, until it completes.
  5. 05Retrieve the finished video and its metadata.

Authentication concept

Server-to-server only, using a secret key sent in an Authorization header. Keys will be scoped per organisation, revocable and rate limited. Browser-side use is not supported by design — a secret key must never reach a client.

Webhooks

Completion, failure and moderation events will be delivered to a registered endpoint with a signature so receivers can verify authenticity, plus retries with idempotency keys.

Pricing concept

API usage will draw on the same BuilVid credit system as the application, billed per generation and metered per organisation. Rates are not set.
